Due to the COVID-19 crisis and organizational restructuring, my role at Baker Tilly, as an Executive Assistant, out of Southfield, Michigan, was eliminated. However, I am fortunate to say that I have since joined Vesco Oil Corporation as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. I feel very lucky and excited to be working here!Before joining Vesco, I worked in a contract position with the Detroit Zoological Society to help with their annual fundraiser event, at BCBSM in Detroit on a 3-month contract with ICONMA, in a project management role, and then transitioned to Aptiv (formerly Delphi) on contract with Acro Services Corp, where I worked in their Information Technology Division, training and supporting executives and my fellow Aptiv colleagues around the globe on premium video and audio technologies. My career background spans over 5 states and 5 different industries, from my early beginnings in the film manufacturing industry with Eastman Kodak Company, to 15 years in the energy industry, primarily in natural gas, to my 9 years working at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, 3 1/2 years with Aptiv, formerly Delphi, and my last role at Baker Tilly, specializing in finance, tax, auditing, and consulting, nationally and globally. These diverse career paths and stops along the way have enhanced and developed me into the well-rounded, business professional I am today, and for that I am thankful.
