I can certify documents in my office or virtually so clients don’t have to get certified copies of their passports at the embassy or send in original documentation to the IRS. Besides helping nonresidents, I assist title companies, realtors and attorneys understand the very complex tax laws when nonresidents sell real estate in the US. I can help answer any related questions and file the appropriate tax forms with the IRS for FIRPTA withholding at closing. I can apply for a withholding certificate from the IRS for reduced withholding and file the required tax returns so my clients can receive their refunds as fast as possible.
