Responsible for building business skill and technical competency of the assurance and risk practice through management of technical program design and implementation.My program portfolio included: Australian auditing and accounting standards (IFRS, ISA), US GAAP and US GAAS (including SoX), the 'risk' practice curriculum and the assurance graduate curriculum.Achieved through:- Effective stakeholder management, including firm leadership and SMEs, to maintain support for ongoing investment in curriculum.- Creation of centralised trainer team to maximise quality of program delivery at lowest cost to serve, maximising return on investment.- Redesign of assurance graduate curriculum to embed innovative blended learning solutions and align programs to firm strategy.- Ongoing budget management and seeking innovation opportunities to increase program effectiveness at lower cost to serve.

Responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients, comprised of Australian and Australian based significant subsidiaries of US listed companies – with a significant portion of my time spent working in the US GAAP/GAAS space, including SoX 404 compliance.Other responsibilities included:- Lead coach of the national US Audit Coach network, responsible for supporting audit quality on US reporting engagements.- Designer and facilitator of the annual US regulatory update program, covering US GAAS, US GAAP and SoX.- Member of my division's Audit Quality Coach team, developing tailored training materials for the group and completing 'hot-reviews' of audit engagement files.- Lead facilitator for the national graduate audit core curriculum, covering technical and business skills development for the graduate population.- Member of global review team responsible for reviewing engagement quality in overseas PwC firm.
