Responsible for coordinating sales and retention efforts within the Birmingham Market. Assist the Supervisor in coordinating group meetings and events with prospective members to support market growth. Support various departments at VIVA including but not limited to Sales and Marketing, Provider Services, Quality Improvement, Medicare Enrollment, and Medicare Member Services. Maintain knowledge of VIVA Medicare Plus products to service customer needs appropriately. Develop and express ideas to facilitate events geared towards retention of current business. Maintain in-depth knowledge of CMS Marketing regulations, competitor’s offerings, and the parameters which govern the sales and promotion of Medicare Advantage products. Remain current on CMS Marketing regulations, and correlate them to the retention/service process. Interface with various groups including members and their advocates, prospects, senior citizen organizations, internal VIVA Health staff, vendors, and CMS. Provide recommendations for issues related to the marketing strategy, event coordination, and quality improvement. Ensure retail Café is opened on time and all operating systems are functioning to support Market Staff.
