I am an artist / illustrator with experience in graphic design, digital painting, and video editing. I am also currently an adjunct professor at VCU.In the past I worked as a Production Assistant / Production Coordinator / General Illustrator for a succesful medical illustration company based out of Richmond, VA. I am very knowledgeable with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro. While working at MediVisuals, I was in charge of a 10 color large ink based plotter, where I would also print and mount large exhibits to be utilized as exhibits for legal purposes. Attention to detail of final finished product was a must to ensure full client satisfaction.My love for art and painting has led me outdoors these days. I am an avid plein air painter. I have received two grants in the past 2 years to further my interest in painting. I love that I can share my joy for painting through teaching a Plein Air class at VCU. Along with my Plein Air painting class, I also teach Sequential Imaging, where I get to talk about some of my other favorite forms of art. Animation and Comics! As an artist, I can't stop learning, growing, elevating. I am always curious and seek to better myself through knowledge and technique, whether its art related or non art related.
