Dorian Curtin Email and Phone Number
My name is Dorian Curtin, I have a BS in environmental science and resource management at California State University Channel Islands; I have an interest in genetics that originated early―I was born with an identical twin―but through my early educational career have gradually evolved to focus on conservation genetics. I have found opportunities to explore this topic in local ecosystems, such as the snowy plover. I am fascinated by the relationships between selection, anthropogenic threats, and changing migration patterns; these issues, and my love for research, motivate my desire to continue my studies at the graduate level. I am really interested in the hybridization of animals, both naturally and anthropogenically caused.
