Worked to engage CSUCI students in trail restoration and conservation through education, volunteer opportunities, and promotion and marketing. Participated in analyzing, planning, and completing various trail restoration projects.

Assessed and analyzed aggregated cellular data, created data visualizations and presented data findings to stakeholders. Organized four years work of data on coastal access and amenities.

I supervised four groups of 10-16 staff, facilitating their personal growththrough regular evaluations and monitoring of mental health. I preparedfor each session by creating “camper cards” to communicate uniquecircumstances to staff and set them up for success. I telephoned parentsto share how their child was adapting to camp, communicate ongoingconcerns, and/or answer any questions. I specialized in “Camper Care,”handling various psychological dilemmas/issues and resolving conflictsbetween campers. I worked along with those I supervised to create awelcoming and nurturing environment.

Remote programming for the camp. I remotely participated in aconference that consisted of having to interact with hundreds of peoplefrom different camps across North America. The remote programminghad to be engaging, family friendly, and educational. I was chosen toeducate campers and staff on ideas and concepts that related to the Jewishideology. I also had to be creative, time orientated, and disciplined in amultitude of leadership areas.

I managed and planned weekend long programs. I taught college studentsthe basics of camping and the outdoors. I researched and organizedmonthly trips. I had to gather supplies ahead of time and plan for anypossible problem. I participated in outdoor activities and taughtparticipants about the local area that we were currently visiting, even if Ihad never been there before. It required extensive research, planning, andpaperwork that I was more than willing to do to be able to successfullyteach others and educate myself to my best ability.

I was required to get them to theiractivities on time and be able to command a mutual respect from themthat had to be earned and maintained throughout a three-week period of constant outdoor activity and interaction with other kids their age. I hadto maintain the peace in the group if any sort of tension broke out or asituation happened that caused an incident, it required a quick responseand innovative thinking so the kids did not know I was influencing themin a way that would prevent further altercations. I oversaw an intensetwo-day program called Maccabiah that consisted of back-to-backactivities all over the campus that required my direct attention andprevious month-long planning ahead of time. It was like a two-day colorwar that never ended until you went to bed.

I organized and rearranged digital media and texts to allow those withlearning disabilities or difficulties to focus, can easily use voicerecognition software. I use ABBYY to recognize and confirm text fortextbooks and literature so the voice to word reading software willcorrectly interpret the words and not come out a jumbled mess. Iconducted training in digital media accessibility for a multitude ofdisabilities, both mental and physical. I know how to implement theAdobe software and use it to separate, combine, and edit files.
