Working at client Navistar in San Antonio, Conducted control plan gap analysis entire plant to identify gaps in the processes compared to the standard work instructions and comparing the gap between those two elements and the control plan. Created Standard Work Instructions to guide operators on assembly processes. These instructions provided clear work steps, referencing a visual image and critical points to acknowledge and the reasoning.These instructions improved work flow, competency and quality. Task times reduced 12% due to clear instructions, Production increased 31% due to plant wide reduced task times.Additionally, provided action items needed to fill those gaps to improve the Manufacturing Engineering Systems to allow for efficient production and even forecasting.
