• Worked with Import team on Full package and partial package manufacturing of prototypes, Salesmen samples and with sample makers on proper assembly of prototypes• Released, monitored and troubleshoots manufacturing of prototypes, Salesmen samples, pattern checks and Counter samples• Managed WIP information monitoring sample due dates on a daily basis and helped creative team prepare samples for showroom meetings• Worked with costing team on potential margin challenges, finding alternative technical and manufacturing solutions • Researched and compiled all material information, creating detailed material and spec by color • Worked in partnership with the creative design team and product engineers in setting up and maintaining development styles in design database • Created specs, grade rules and prioritized work load and due dates of assigned styles • Executed corrections of basic blocks, and final patterns that were used for acquiring new styles and 1st and production patterns Made revisions to patterns to enhanced the aesthetic value of existing styles• Implemented fast and efficient method for product development and garment construction• Work with out side vendors and raised quality and efficiently of domestic and off shore vendors in the development of new styles• Conducted fittings, and was responsible for making corrections to patterns. • Created technical packages POM charts and flow charts with Microsoft excel to monitor the progress of preproduction and production department.• Tested for shrinkage and worked with cutting contractors to ensure the assigning of dye lots.
