I am currently finishing my Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering at Kennesaw State University. I am looking to advance in the area of Power Electronics. Simultaneously, I work as a Power Electronics lab technician for Firmware / Control / Hardware testing. I work with high power inverters and help to design and operate tests for observing our system under extreme conditions and corner cases. I write python scripts to help automate tests and assist with HIL testing (Hardware in the Loop). I am familiar with the Typhoon platform and Opal. I assist in training new hires to use the equipment and programs that we run to operate and test the system.I come from a management background. I have was an Executive Chef in for 5 years and recently transitioned back to the Engineering world. During my time as Chef, I gained excellent communication skills and learned to lead people from many different backgrounds. I am a great mitigator and director. This trade helped me learn to be organized and self-sufficient. Many of these skills have translated well to my current position and have helped me be successful in my duties.
