Hi there! My name is Dorian Mitchell and I am a Banneker Key Scholar at the University of Maryland double majoring in Government and Politics & Criminology and Criminal Justice. I am also a student in the Federal Fellows Program, which is a selective year-long program combining a fall seminar course and a spring government internship. I am passionate about public policy, political engagement, and advocacy. Issues of interests for me have been prison reform, civil rights, and criminal justice. After completing my undergraduate education, I plan to attend law school to become a criminal defense attorney.
