Graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University, Milken Institute School of Public Health, with a MPH degree. I'm passionate about epidemiology, health policy, and how program implementation and public policy can be utilized to improve health outcomes and equity and address health disparities. Gained valuable knowledge and skills in research design, data analysis and corresponding software (e.g., Statistical Analysis System, SAS), program evaluation, and political advocacy through my coursework and projects at GW. I'm passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to address public health issues and improve health outcomes. Diverse and relevant work experience in the fields of civic engagement, forensic science, and evidence management. Most recently, a field organizer for The Outreach Team, engaged communities across Virginia Beach and Chesapeake region to survey voters on their perceptions of increasing energy and prescription drug costs.Similarly, past experience as a field organizer at NextGen America, where I increased voter participation and awareness among young votera across five college campuses in Allegheny County. I planned and hosted campus events, coordinated with faculty at colleges, facilitated and conducted presentations to college classes, and supervised interns and volunteers during the 2018 midterms. Previously worked as a Forensic Evidence Specialist at Allegheny County Medical Examiners Office, where I maintained the integrity and chain of custody of evidence, transported and stored evidence, developed and revised standard operating procedures, and attended quality control board meetings regarding accreditation standards.
