I have a Master’s degree in Linguistics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and have developed strong programming and analytical skills. My Master’s thesis on Automatic Text Summarization (ATS) and automatic coreference resolution has familiarized me with several popular NLP Python libraries, such as spaCy, gensim, pandas or Scikit-learn, among others. I have also learned to use machine learning techniques, such as using different types of neural networks, word embeddings or other more advanced language models (BERT). During my internship at NLP Town in 2019, I have acquired teamwork skills for programming projects (Git, Python coding style, …) as well as corpora handling and management skills. Since then, several university classes allowed me to increase my Python programming level even more; I have also learned several other languages such as Java, Perl or NodeJs.Passionate about technology (and more specifically about the open source world), I also have at heart to keep human beings and their fundamental rights at the center of my projects. In this perspective, I worked (student job) in 2020 on “Mind-it”, a project of the UCLouvain (‘Université catholique de Louvain’) which aims at the early detection of Alzheimer's disease through a longitudinal analysis of language data.I am also very interested in web technologies, both front-end (Html, CSS, Bootstrap, ...) and back-end (php, NodeJs, SQL, MongoDb… but also web hosting, following projects such as Yunohost) as well as computer security (data encryption and privacy protection).
