Registered Social Service Worker (832249), Registered Social Worker (832249), and Brock University Humanities graduate, seeking to improve the wellbeing of individuals and to better serve the community by delivering 100% commitment and demonstrating knowledge and skills to a challenging role.As someone with a physical disability who has gone through years of rehabilitation, I decided to give back. I went to school and obtained a Social Service Worker diploma then obtained a Bachelor's in Social Work after switching careers from a researcher. My empathy, resilience, and unconditional positive regard would improve the therapeutic relationships with clients was developed becuase of my experience at Alcoholics Recovery in Dignity (ARID) because it was a drunk driver who caused my injuries. I want people to be able to belong and thrive in their community. Community is an important part of an individual's life.
