Project Life is a non-profit organization started on the campus of Davidson College in 1990. The primary goal of Project Life is to increase the number of individuals in the registry for bone marrow transplants. There is a critical need for African American Donors. Project Life sets out to accomplish this mission through the education about the importance of being in the registry, as well as funding and hosting bone marrow drives on college campuses.I have been selected to be primary representative with formulating a conference wide partnership with Project Life and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). This partnership will be the first of its kind and I am responsible for having all 12 participating schools perform drives on their campuses.I was given the opportunity to travel 3094.56 Miles to Add 1640 people to the bone marrow registry from the CIAA.
