Over 9 years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry. I began my career as a QC Laboratory Assistant and then elevated to operations management where I gained extensive knowledge of both ICH and FDA guidelines on whole blood collections. I am also experienced with acting as a study site coordinator for the implementation of the Roche Cobas Zika test. Currently serving as a Clinical Testing General Supervisor managing a high-complexity laboratory. I am skilled in multiple molecular biotechniques such as extraction, qPCR, etc. and also laboratory techniques such as ELISA. Obtained a master's degree in biomedical sciences which enhanced my comprehension of immunology, biochemistry, and pathology. Other important things to note about me include my advocacy for women's health and those who reside in underserved areas with limited or no adequate access to healthcare. I co-founded a non-profit organization, My Act of Random Kindness Inc. (M.A.R.K.), primarily based in South Florida, where we partnered with numerous organizations to serve areas in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. I've also served as a social media coordinator for a non-profit organization focused on providing uninsured women with adequate prenatal and postnatal services to accommodate their pregnancy needs.
