After successfully delivering a Master Data Management solution market review, Dorian was re-engaged to assist with the uplifting of WSV's Data Governance practise maturity and conducting a review of current progress and direction of the WSV Data Strategy:Master Data Management Review - Leading a small team of experts in assessing WSV's existing key data systems, then providing a products review, recommendations, and requirements package so WSV could go to Market.Data Governance and Strategy Management - Filling the interim Data Governance Manager role, reporting to the Chief Data Officer.Governance - Lead practise uplift and support key Public Sector reporting requirements (e.g. VAGO etc).Strategy - Engage key stakeholders across the business in a structured series of workshops designed to review current Data Strategy progress, identify gaps and priorities; thenTransformation - Create an agreed package of works (project) to enhance WSV's information management practises while meeting key business requirements and retiring corporate risks.

An AGILE response to ensure and enhance core service delivery during the COVID pandemic, this project is the CEO’s Number 1 priority. With AV being the largest user and having the most integrated operating model, this project impacts virtually all AV technology, data and services and involves 48 downstream IT systems and the assured delivery of business-critical real time data feeds. A key part of this role was resetting the way the agencies work together into a collaborative, agile and iterative retirement of risk and delivery of value.
