• Production Specialist, Printer Operator, Software Producer – Responsible for the management of production for Xerox worksite at Universal Instruments. As sole operator onsite, responsible for meeting all deadlines on submitted software and document requests including: CD’s/DVD’s, PROM’s, Dongles, USB’s, and diskettes for software duplication, and booklets, promotional materials, tech publications, product manuals, and kits (combination software, documentation and licenses), and any finishing requirements (folding, GBC or tape bind, drilling, cutting) for document production for manufactured machines. For prepress and document creation, handles all re-engineering of documents to migrate from offset to digital printing, applying color management, color correction, and image editing to client files to achieve desired file quality, as well as image scanning when required. Responsible for running the mail room (receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail to all department), applying postage to outgoing mail.• Equipment Maintenance and Service - Handling of all configuration, calibration and light maintenance on 13 Xerox printers onsite and working with technicians to coordinate major repairs for equipment maintenance and service. Responsible for all ordering of materials for printers, print supplies, software duplication materials, mail supplies, and any other client needs in regards to the print shop and software duplication.
