Sculptor Capital is a global alternative asset manager with approximately $38 billion of assets under management. I was a Senior Project Manager & Business Analyst responsible for managing high-visibility and typically cross-functional projects, working closely with stakeholders in the middle and back office, the internal technology team and outsourced partners.* Headed 18-month project to outsource entire middle office function of structured credit business line to an outsourced partner, allowing the business to double in size without additional headcount, saving over $2M annually* Coordinated year-long project across trading, operations, compliance, marketing, legal and accounting to bring firm in compliance with EU ‘MiFID II’ regulations, resulting in full regulatory compliance by deadline* Executed implementation of MiFID trade and transaction reporting, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, technology implementation and handover to operations, resulting in full regulatory compliance by deadline* Created custom Jira-based workflow tool to manage over 100 monthly investor requests, delivering significant productivity gains to operations team of 10* Lead analyst on multiple projects including: Outsourcing settlement of bank debt trades to external vendor; Establishment of new vendor data feed for bank debt credit events; Automation of quarterly 13F filing process; Development of new tool to monitor closed-end fund investments

* Managed a team of 11 business analysts, offshore development team and global business stakeholders as part of Citi’s Global Transaction Services (GTS) division, responsible for elicitation and documentation of functional requirements for commercial banking electronic bank account management and client onboarding applications* Introduced new analysis processes including use case modeling, UML and BPMN, and launched new tool to manage all requirements, leading to better coordination across global team and faster project delivery timelines* Supervised up to ten global projects simultaneously, providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members, resulting in enhanced quality and consistency across projects

* Led analysis on two tier-one projects to add "bank-to-bank" funds transfer functionality to the Wells Fargo online banking system; both projects installed successfully when two previous attempts at the project had failed* Produced complete functional specification using use case driven object-oriented analysis, including requirements traceability matrix, business process model, business domain model, state machines, use case model & specifications and user interface specifications; specified batch business processes that synchronized key customer data across multiple banking systems* Implemented new requirements management process and tool centered around visual modeling using UML and BPMN, resulting in dramatic improvement in requirements’ accuracy* Trained and mentored team of seven business analysts on new process and tool and evangelized process to other departments including architecture and quality assurance* Other projects included development of new Private Bank online banking site; online banking sign-on and authentication enhancements; online check imaging; addition of new online banking personal financial management tools; and retirement of four legacy mainframe systems
