As founder and principal of Taylor Made Consulting (TMC), Dorie intentionally collaborates with arts, culture, education, and wellness leaders to develop unique experiences and build ecosystems. Dorie has worked alongside driven consultants, passionate staff, devoted boards, and innovative committee members and stakeholders to create signature initiatives. Over 14 years, clients have included A+ Schools, Quantum Theatre, Arts Education Collaborative, The Carnegie Museum of Art, The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, YOGAMOTIF and Remake Learning. Prior to launching TMC in 2010, Dorie led various teams in work throughout New York City and across the United States. As an account manager and development officer of events, Dorie successfully orchestrated fan festivals and advertiser events, run/walks, art openings, awards ceremonies, film festivals, fundraisers, galas, and black-tie dinners for companies and organizations as diverse as ABC Television, ESSENCE Magazine, Best Life Magazine/Vail Film Festival, New York City Marathon and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.With over 20 years of work experience, Dorie has meticulously produced events globally and in amazing spaces like New York City’s Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Temple of Dendur, Washington, DC’s Howard University Quad, and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Dorie strengthens nonprofit ecosystems and produces a family-friendly learning festival in a variety of communities - from Appalachia to the mid-west; to the west coast and on several continents. With each new project, Dorie looks forward to strategizing with clients for successful community-wide experiences and outcomes.
