I host the morning drive radio program on KMXI-FM, The Mix! The position includes daily show prep, a live broadcast from 6pm-10am, and production duties as well as live appearances at community events and client remotes. I also post to our social media accounts and our website.

I worked with a marketing team to create and implement promotions and events. I helped to develop several successful onsite community events. I was responsible for all entertainment in two onsite venues, including booking and logistics. I served as primary copywriter and proofreader for marketing materials. I wrote magazine articles and PSAs for the property. I created and maintained our social media presence.

I review and edit all marketing materials, track and audit media placement and provide administrative support. I write press releases and promotional copy. I'm also the casino's social media maven, running our Facebook and Twitter campaigns.

As a graduate student, I won this position teaching an ESL unit of Academic Writing. I prepared the syllabus, coursework, schedule, and lesson plan. I taught the course twice weekly for 75 minutes per session. The class was comprised of 18 international students representing UAE, Kuwait, Vietnam, Cambodia, Russia, and Lebanon.

"More Hip Than Hippie" is a lifestyle podcast created as a marketing tool for internet retailer Greenfeet.com. Every week the company's president and I sit down with beer, chocolate and information about incorporating eco-friendly changes into one's lifestyle. It's a fun and lighthearted show, with listeners all over the world. I co-host, research and edit the show, then create the shownotes and post it online.

I presented live radio shows on several stations in various dayparts within formats ranging from Country to Alternative Rock. As News Director, I prepared and presented newscasts daily on three stations. I had sole responsibility for news gathering, writing, and editing. I wrote and produced advertising spots for all stations in the cluster. As a morning show host, I had top-rated shows both as a solo host ((KQPT) and as a co-host (KALF). I participated in on-air fundraisers for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and for Big Brothers-Big Sisters.
