The Davis Center is the world's premier sound therapy center offering sound-based therapies for learning, development, and wellness. Each person first receives The Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol (DETP) ®, a test battery that determines if, when, how long, and in what order any or all of the many different sound-based therapies can be appropriately applied. It is not the disability or diagnosis that is addressed, but how a person responds to the energy vibration of internal and surrounding sound. People of all ages and diagnoses can be supported with making change in their every day functioning. The center's concepts are now known as The Davis Model of Sound Intervention.The Davis Center aims to make alternative health more prevalent and accepted by the medical community. Sound therapy can help all individuals, and is becoming more accepted in the autism community, as well as with auditory processing disorders. Our goal is to make sound-based therapy more available to the general public. The Davis Center will stay the therapeutic center and other centers will service the general public utilizing the concepts behind Ms. Davis' "Davis Addendum to the Tomatis Effect".
