As you may have gathered from my headline, I’ve had an extensive career in leadership roles, specifically in the construction industry, from single-family residential homes to multimillion-dollar commercial projects. In addition to my aforementioned capabilities, some of my other areas of expertise include Budget Administration, Business Development, Construction Estimation, Documentation Management, and Purchasing and Procurement. To bolster my expertise, I have earned several practical qualifications; I’m certified in Principles of Real Estate and am an ICC Certified Permit Technician. Additionally, I am well-practiced in the use of both standard and specialty software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, TRAKIT, Questys Enterprise, Procore and Primavera Sure Trak Project Manager. Presently, I am serving as the City of Palm Desert Building & Safety Department’s Certified Construction Permit Specialist. Among many responsibilities and accomplishments, I’m rather proud of my personal contribution to the city’s metrics, completing nearly 300 total permits and $277,554.54 collections to date. Prior to my work with Palm Desert, I served 1.5 years as Certified Permit Technician and Administrator on contract with Interwest/Safebuilt, nearly six years as Watermarke Homes, LLC’s Operations Manager, two years as a freelance Project Manager, and over 24 years as the Operations Manager and Project Engineer for Century Crowell Communities.
