All nurses are fingerprinted and background checked.PRN nurses are independent contractors therefore responsible for their own billing and finances. No additional fee is due the registry.A nurse who is working as an independent contractor is responsible to the patient. They maintain continuity of patient care as they are not limited to a 40-hour work week.
