About Doris Flores
I'm looking to enhances my personal and professional growth while collaborating with others to achieve new innovative ideas. I'm adaptable to new challenges where I can give back to the environment and people around me. I believe that learning and observing are essential skills to manage goal-setting and bi-directional knowledge among organizations and its community. After I graduated from my undergrad at Sonoma State University, I joined CareCounsel, Stanford Health Care particularly for its advocacy efforts with communities in the U.S. CareCounsel's core mission was to educate and navigate everyday consumers through the complex health care system by optimizing health plan accessibility and resources. This experience has allowed me to continue advocating for children, youth, adults, and families in their time of need and support. I'm currently on my last semester at CSSW and will be graduating this May 2023 with a concentration in Advance Clinical Social Work focusing on health care, mental health, and disabilities. I look forward to transforming communities through compassion and anti-oppressive and anti-racism frameworks.
