Currently, I'm working at Sdu, a Dutch publisher of governmental documents. I'm part of a dynamic team called Toxic, whose specialty is informing and assisting in working safely with dangerous chemical substances. Ultimately, our team works to facilitate access to legislation since these documents are often dense and complicated. On the editorial team and customer support, I help our software users understand the finer details regarding European law and regulation and keep our database up to date with current legislation. Graduated with a BA in English Literature and Culture and MA in Comparative Literature at the University of Amsterdam. I'm fluent in Dutch, English, and French. Other work experience: - Worked as a research assistant at the University of Amsterdam, which included tasks such as creating an index for an academic publication and compiling/converting bibliographies. Additionally, I have carried out many literature-based research papers with a focus on pop-culture developments and take a special interest in diverse reading/writing/publishing/ initiatives. - 10 years part-time in retail where I gained valuable people skills, and leadership and teamwork experience. Aside from working at the well-known Dutch grocery store, Albert Heijn, I also spend the summers assisting a local pet supply store, Happy Critters. - I've also worked as a teacher's assistant during my internship at my alma mater (American School of The Hague) where I assisted and ran class sessions.I'm organized, dedicated, and have an eye for detail. I'm a quick learner, highly adaptable to new environments, and never shy away from tasks that require focus and perseverance.
