Started working at Rapid on a temporary basis, within three months , was hired full time as a CSR (Customer Service Representative) Duties include assisting customers, accepting payments, troubleshooting their cable or billing problems, to provide them with the best service possible: doing adjustments to accounts.After the purchase of Rapid by Shentel Communications, remained an employee in the position of CSR. I recently was promoted to Marketing Assistant. Keeping the cable industry in touch with the communities that we serve, with positive public image, service and communication. My duties also include creating activities, coordinating events that support the the services and keep current and the prospective new customers informed of all services and promotions offered by Shentel. 2001 – Jan. 4, 2006 YWCA Of Harrison County As the executive director my duties included the overseeing of staff, building improvements, day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization, creating and promoting the YWCA its programs and services. Seeking funding sources, applying for grants, and creating programs that would serve all age groups in the community. Accomplishments: Named Business Woman Advocate of the Year in 2004 by the SBA (Small Business Administration), for creative programming assisting women to start their own specialty food business, providing them with the opportunity, educational tools and support. Major improvements to the YWCA building and grounds, including the successful grant seeking to provide the opportunity to install a much needed elevator in the building, upgrading of office equipment, creating programming that addressed the Mission Statement of the YWCA.

Transportation and Activities Manager at the Harrison County Senior Center. The Transportation department provided van services to doctor appointments or shopping for senior citizens and Medicaid clients. Responsibilities included: upkeep of the vehicles, scheduling, managing and training a staff of drivers; The Activities Department: Responsibilities included: scheduling and creating of events; overseeing staff, newsletter, maintain schedule of 15 senior satellites. I also was past state director of the Ms WV Senior Pageant. During this time worked with the director to create a new program, which provided in home housekeeping services, at a very minimal fee, for homebound seniors.
