As a parent and school teacher, I saw the emotional struggles children go through as they are growing and it reminded me of my own adolescence. Self-doubt, low confidence, sensitivity to other's words and opinions, apathy are all on the increase in children. What if we could teach young children at an early age how to choose better feeling thoughts and how to focus on the good things in their life? What if we could teach children that they do have power over how they are feeling? What if we could teach children at an early age how to set goals, focus, and achieve? These were questions that I focused on when creating Wishing Pixies. Wishing Pixies are fairy dolls, a magical story, and a children's App that is Parent/Pixies interactive. Wishing Pixies promotes good behavior, positive thinking, goal focus, and emotional strength in children. The parent interacts with their child, guiding their emotional development. In a world full of influences on children, at such an early age, Wishing Pixies helps parents become the biggest influence on their child's emotional development.
