Responsible for all areas of royalty administration, including but not limited to reporting, payment, contractual obligations, subsidiary licensing allocations, and all duties related to the timely delivery and execution of royalty commitmentsResponsible for data entry, analysis, and reporting relating to new and existing royalty contracts.Prepare semi-annual royalty statements for all imprints.Maintain author/agent database records, including but not limited to title data, payee information, and maintenance of ACH payment data in accounting databases.Prepare royalty sales analysis reports for editorial staff upon request.Perform complex data aggregation, metrics collection, and monthly ingestion of sales data.Perform sales analysis for bonus and return reserve calculation.Respond to author and agent royalty inquiries in a timely manner.Provide accounting support for the Finance department as needed.Process payments for all royalty commitments including royalty advances and contractual earnings payments.

Manage the full monthly partner reporting process, including verifying the accuracy of automated reports, preparing custom reports for partners, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and providing summarized activity analysesCollaborate with stakeholders in Core Operations and Finance to ensure key business and financial terms are accurately reflected in partner dashboardsServe as the primary point of contact for content partner inquiries relating to reporting and paymentsCalculate and pay revenue shares owed to content partners including minimum guarantees and other contract termsCreate monthly invoices, reconciliations, aging analyses, and cash applications, and create claim schedules for any underpaymentsEnsure all related transactions are accurately recorded in the company’s accounting system and reconciled at each month-end closeImprove Royalty workflows and create efficiencies as the business continues to scaleAssist with audits and special projects to support decision-making
