The focus of her work is to create transformation and growth which she accomplishes through a systematic approach that she has developed over her career. Although systematic in application, this approach is deeply influenced by her personal philosophy that work can and should transform people in a very special way and that leaders have an obligation to create environments that support not only growth to the organization but growth to the individual. Her work with teams and the development of teamwork workshops reflects the culmination of many years of thinking and study in this area.Doris received her Bachelor’s degree from York University (Canada) and received her MBA at Stevens Institute of Technology (NJ). She has recently completed a Masters in Coaching and Executive Consulting from New York University (NY).She has worked with university leadership to nurture a culture of knowledge creation, innovation, integrity, and inclusion across departments and offices. She brings her skill as a professional coach into her work by working with individuals to help them better understand their next growth opportunity and how to get there.She brings expertise in advancing and leading interdisciplinary research efforts, building partnerships across schools, institutes and units, and securing funding from government agencies, industry, philanthropic donors, and foundations. Her approach to problem solving blends creativity and bureaucracy for optimum solutions. When she is not studying and being a force for change in the workplace, Doris can be found hosting art collectives, browsing vegetables at the farmer’s market and biking to work from her home in Brooklyn, NY.
