Currently pursuing a degree in computer science at the University of British Columbia, with an interest in creating thoughtful solutions through software development and improving efficiency in human-computer interactions. During my time at RBC Insurance, I gained extensive experience in disability management, in exercising policies, and in client relations. My ability to efficiently manage numerous and diverse cases, balance internal and external pressures, and communicate effectively with partners and clients had contributed not only to the success of the company, but also supported my clients' well-being, and most importantly, enabled them to return to their livelihoods.Having completed the Graduate Diploma in Business at the Smith School of Business, I have the ability to combine my knowledge of business fundamentals with the analytical skills from my undergraduate studies in linguistics. I approach problems with a unique perspective, communicating issues, insights, and ideas effectively, and creating valuable and mutually beneficial relationships. Through my unique experiences, I have developed a strong work ethic that has often led to my promotion to positions of leadership. My communication skills have consistently resulted in trusting relationships and fruitful partnerships, as well as facilitated teamwork, negotiations, and teaching. I am also highly organized and analytically creative, allowing me to achieve a lot with limited resources. As I am coachable and very attentive to detail, I learn quickly with a positive attitude.
