Yi Hsin (Doris) Wang is a professor of accounting at National Taipei University, and has been the IIA member for 25 years since 1997. In addition, Dr. Wang has served as the Chairperson of the Taiwan Accounting Research and Development Foundation since 2014. She was elected as the Chairperson of the Institute of Internal Auditors-Chinese Taiwan from 2012 to 2016 , the Vice Chairperson of IIA-Chinese Taiwan (2008 to 2012), and had been a member of the Board of directors (2002 – 2020) more than 15 years. Especially , Doris Wang was a pioneer to introduce the IIA Certification in Risk Management Assurance® (CRMA® ) to Taiwan and was the first one to earn CRMA certification in Taiwan.Doris Wang has been the keynote speaker for the IIA and ACIIA international conferences since 2010. Dr. Wang earned her PhD in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and is a CPA, CIA, CGAP, and CRMA. She had served as a volunteer with the ACIIA, and IIA Global from 2012 to 2020. The 2013 ACIIA Conference of Institutes of Internal Auditors (IIA) was held from November 3rd to 5th at the Grand Hotel, Taipei and the main topic was “Empire Governance”. There were more than 1,000 delegates coming from 20 countries all over the world to join this special event. Doris Wang, Chairperson of IIA-Chinese Taiwan, was the host for this great event.Professor Wang has been committed to promoting CIA, CRMA, IPPF, COSO and has made outstanding impact in the internal audit profession through research, education, publications, conferences, speaking and activities since 1997. She is the author of the IIA Chinese translated publications, including COSO Internal Control — Integrated Framework ,2013, COSO Enterprise Risk Management Framework: Integrating with Strategy and Performance, 2017 and other IIA books.
