Doris is a marketing executive, product management strategist and home industry expert, with 15+ years of experience building and branding multi-million-dollar product portfolios for leading multinationals and local organizations in the consumer goods and manufacturing industries. She has driven a variety of initiatives – from product planning & positioning to market strategy and content development – that contribute to consistent growth of both top line and bottom line for a wide range of businesses, including high-profile manufacturers, top-tier distributors and Fortune 500 brands. Her expertise: branding & product marketing, product innovation & go-to-market launches, and pricing & positioning strategy. Doris is the AVP of Marketing at Polygroup, a global consumer goods leader with companies that design, manufacture and distribute outdoor recreation and seasonal home décor products that inspire people to play more and celebrate more. She oversees establishing and building marketing content for all products across the company’s brands. Under her leadership, the team has delivered marketing plans, collateral, presentations and product copy that appealed to top-tier retailers and consumers globally. Previously, Doris held diverse corporate roles in product management & development, promoting a wide variety of home products from some of the biggest brands, including Bosch, Siemens, Philips, Conair, Kenwood, and Frigidaire. A career highlight is when Doris was the first employee in the Bosch & Siemens Hong Kong office nominated by the CEO to join the International Executive Pool and attend their HQ training program.Travelling is Doris’s big passion, and she has explored places all around the world, including Siberia & Scandinavia. Additionally, she worked in Sweden for three months as a trainee of an international exchange program. Doris holds a Master’s degree in Management, with a Marketing specialization. She is the recipient of the ‘Silver Award’ from the Institute of Direct Marketing’s National Student DM Competition, sponsored by Nestle Purina Pet Care and KLP Euro RSCG. When Doris is not making moves in the marketing realm, she might be practicing new moves on the basketball court as a member of a local amateur basketball team.
