My nursing career as an RN started in the emergency room and 17 years later I am still loving it. My roles have included staff nurse, triage coordinator, member of the Rapid Diagnostic Area development team, and charge nurse. The nurse practitioners I worked with had a big influence on me returning to school and obtaining my master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
