Graphic designer with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications from Farmingdale State College. As a 24 year breast cancer survivor, I am interested in using my skills to help other cancer survivors in addition to working as a full time graphic designer. I believe that a positive attitude and support are extremely important to anyone facing a diagnosis of cancer. Professionally I have enjoyed working in the field for five years as a graphic designer at a jewelry business, envelope company and most recently Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology. Each experience has taught me about learning the target audience and creating beautiful design to deliver a message. At Zwanger I have had the opportunity to also engage with non-profits to increase awareness of the importance of prevention and timely mammograms/sonograms. Designing newspaper ads, banners, subway ads, billboards, truck wraps, social media posts and marketing materials including mammo bags, brochures, calendars, mousepads, etc. have given me a wide range of experience.Several breast cancer non-profits are part of my freelance work and I have created brochures, signage, logos, seed packets as give aways, invitations, web ads, etc for organizations that are dear to my heart.
