2/11-11/11 Technical Evangelist and Community Manager• After working as a volunteer moderator, was asked to join the company as communitymanager and technical evangelist for the entire network of sites.• Helped the company grow from 38 to 71 Q & A sites on topics from theoretical physics tocooking to travel to literature. Handled initial community building phase for all new sites.• Sponsored and attended conferences on behalf of the network to publicize the StackExchange platform to new users and to encourage existing users to explore new sites.• Helped set and promote company and community policies.8/10–2/11 Community Moderator • Founding volunteer moderator for Ask Different, an Apple–focused question and answer site.
