I am a values- and purpose-driven healthcare and pharmacy leader and believe in building sustainable relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Throughout my career in Canada and the US with private and non-profit sectors, I have aligned vision with strategy and successful implementations, transforming future-forward healthcare and pharmacy services. This involved establishing the infrastructure, human resources plan, and digital health, achieving clinical and operational excellence, advancing patient and staff safety and continuous quality improvement, and obtaining national recognition. My work includes providing successful health system pharmacy transformations with multisite organizations working collaboratively with stakeholders at all health system levels, identifying desired outcomes with the end in mind in a results-driven and sustainable manner.I consistently apply best practice standards, ensure regulatory compliance, build alliances, and consider external drivers proactively, planning for future healthcare and pharmacy strategies, most effectively and efficiently serving patient care and communities. I am particularly mindful of the needs of vulnerable populations, equity and diversity in my work.I enjoy change, solving complex problems in a team-based approach and helping others to feel proud of their accomplishments. I have also always been engaged with academic organizations and am passionate about mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in pharmacy and business fields. I am particularly proud of my authorship, which includes a chapter on medication automation, distribution and pharmaceutical supply chain for a pan-Canadian e-learning informatics guide for interprofessional education and research focused on identifying the areas of breakdown in medication management as patients transitioned from hospital to home care, and compassion care communities.I am passionate about the importance of research to advance ways to improve the care of vulnerable populations and influencing policy.As a lifelong learner, I am continuously upscaling my leadership and change agent skills. I achieved the Certified Health Executive certification, Canadian College of Health Leaders, 2020; Harvard PostPostgraduateical Education certification, Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership, 2021; and Global Training to Teach in Medicine, 2023. I will always strive to provide authentic leadership and be values-driven, focusing on trusting relationships, and advocating for vulnerable groups, aiming to support others' success.
