• Supervise data release program for complex geographic data formats, 3D Visual Content, Enterprise, Pedestrian/Transit, Voice Phonetics, POI-XML and various location based content products globally. • Manage content changes of global markets to ensure legal compliance, government approvals and ship authorization. Communicate delay and reship risks to customers and senior leadership. • Influence positive team dynamic and productivity in a local and global environment.• Lead and facilitate task force projects with cross functional teams to address process improvements and data issues. • Assign, delegate, and review the work of direct reports. -Train and develop new and existing employees in the comparison of NAVTEQ NAVSTREETS for MapInfo, ArcView and Oracle 9i database products against data corruption and incorrect or incomplete software builds using Oracle PL/SQL, ArcGIS and MapInfo Professional software.-Implement validation and improve data delivery process from media (CD/DVD) to File Transfer Protocol due to changes in customer demands.• Lead data product release coordination for North America and select World Market products• Utilize GIS software and statistical tools to verify road names, POIs, navigable links, function class network connectivity. Export sample data for regression analysis, degradation and quality defects. • Work with product management teams to document appropriate validations for new products.• Train and develop team members on technical specifications of NAVTEQ product lines.• Create validation processes, user guides, perform risk assessment and distribute technical release communication to customers.
