Dorothee Dormann currently is a Professor at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität (JGU) Mainz and Adjunct Director at the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB). Her group does research in Neuroscience and Cell Biology and is particularly interested in molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. Her current projects focus on nucleocytoplasmic transport, post-translational modifications and phase transitions of disease-linked RNA-binding proteins.
