I am a Registered Nurse with 27 years of diverse experience. My work experience has led me to be a holistic nurse with strong belief in the mind and body connection. I am an advocate of integrated medical care, and believe in the value of coordination of care between primary care providers and mental health providers. I have approximately 10 years of case management experience amongst several models of care- both telephonically and in home case management. I am enthusiastic, compassionate, dependable and conscientious in my work. I work well independently or as part of a team. I am looking for a nursing position where I can use my experience and skills in one or more of these areas: behavioral health nursing, pharmacy, children and adults with special needs. Most recently I was working in Medication Services at the Right Door in Ionia serving both children and adults with behavioral health issues. I love this kind of work. I am currently recovering from surgery and am anxious to get back to work. I have an affinity for pharmacy and have 16 months in insurance doing pharmacy prior authorization work- ups for the CMO to review, appeals and also assisting in formulary development and pharmacy utilization management processes and procedures.
