I am an enthusiastic student at Griffith University studying a Bachelor of pharmacy on the Gold Coast. I enjoy studying and learning new skills whether it’s in a classroom or at the work place and will go above and beyond to gain a deeper understanding about all aspects of my studies. I also make sure I create time to relax and socialise to balance my life as much as possible.Starting my current job at Chempro chemist in late 2017 as a junior assitant I was unsure of what I wanted to pursue as a career in university however I was inspired by the duties and knowledge of the pharmacists and pharmacy assistances I worked with. After a couple years of gaining some experience of areas within the pharmacy, I completed a certificate in community pharmacy and became a passionate pharmacy assistant. Now at university I am striving towards a career as a pharmacist, as well as possibly seeing what other areas within the health/medical field can inspire me in different ways to help other people.From a young age being surrounded by health professionals I have been developing several strengths that I now apply in my daily life.I am excited to see where my studies in pharmacy can take me within the health field and what other opportunities I will encounter along the journey.
