About Dorrit Lowsen

I was persuaded of the transformative power of business while earning my MBA in Strategy and International Business. That belief was reinforced during my time as Chief Strategy/Operations Officer at Agora Partnerships, where I saw the power of small business every day. My work at Agora ranged from development of Agora's signature Impact Accelerator, to streamlining internal operations, to fundraising and institutional development, to strategic planning and partnerships development. Today, through my work as COO at Change Finance, I seek to scale that transformation by utilizing the power of public financial markets to shift capital from harm to healing. Prior to joining the Change Finance founding team, I served as Director of Client Engagement at DaizyLogik, working with non-profit and social enterprise clients to leverage the power of the cloud to maximize their impact. At the U.S. Embassy in Beijing I focused on climate change, air quality, and other environment, science, and technology issues. I also have experience building my own consulting business working for clients across the private, public, and non-profit sectors. I started my career in the technology sector working first at Seagate Technology where I gained deep experience leading internationally distributed teams with members from diverse professional, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, then leading a division at Ethos Technologies, a software outsourcing firm, in Beijing, China.During the course of my career, I have worked across a broad range of business areas including finance, public policy, executive leadership, strategic planning, operations, institutional development, marketing, business process improvement, human resources, organization design, program management, IT, and professional development.
