Independent board member at Federal Home Loan Bank of DallasRetired as a partner with an international accounting firm in risk management, innovation, and national office roles from 2002 to 2016. As Managing Partner for Innovative Services Development, I worked with the audit, tax and advisory services lines to develop and market new integrated solutions to bring confidence to financial reporting, sustainability, cyber security and other objectives of dynamic organizations. In addition to the innovation leadership role, I continued to stay involved in technical consultations, particularly supporting the Financial Services industry, and led the firm’s outreach to the academic community.During my first nine years at the international accounting firm, I served as a National Professional Practice Director where I was consulted on difficult accounting, audit and risk management matters. Previously, I enjoyed more than 25 years with Arthur Andersen in a variety of positions, most recently in Chicago as the Managing Director of their Assurance Professional Standards Group. Before that I was the Technical Director and Regulatory Liason for Banking, a member of the Accounting Principles Group, and line auditor.
