A seasoned retail veteran since the age of 16 I have worked in everything from haute couture, to menswear to home goods. My early career was with the iconic department store chain, Dayton Hudson Corporation in the roles of store group manager as well as the buying office. As a card carrying creative I find sourcing and curating for the retail environment extremely satisfying. Developing my own collection of successful indy retail concepts in Austin Texas that have survived and flourished in spite of economic downturns and redevelopment are a testament to my personal tenacity and practical business acumen. I am proud to employ and mentor the next generation of retail creatives as well as help others develop great products for the retail environment. Indy retail is fun and never the same any two days - Currently serving on our Board Of Directors.

I will serve on the Board Of Directors and advise and assist as we move forward with a new generation! You will find me doing all-the-creative pursuits as well as traveling and caretaking our beautiful wooded oasis we are so privileged to steward.

Orchestrator in Chief...Everythingamacator. Our original concept store. Wild About Music started as a small booth in a co-op gift market where the current Austin Convention Center stands. I was asked to consult in 1995 to bring it into the realm of a true brick and mortar store and never looked back. Buh Bye retail retirement! So proud of what we have accomplished and our longevity! Now on our fifth Austin location due to Austin's explosive growth and property redevelopment we also had a location in the Santa Monica Promenade district for three years.

My second retail job was with Dayton Hudson at the ripe age of 18 where I began selling young mens clothing. I continued working in various capacities at several stores in Minnesota and North Dakota until 1983 where I was one of the first employees to be promoted internally into management. At the time they only recruited new graduates on college campuses. I always worked hard and had a take charge attitude (still do!) As a self assured only child with my retail professional/couture buyer mother as my mentor never hurt!
