I am currently teaching a free art family program offered through the Sun Gallery on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month,During the early part of 2013, I also gave field trip tours to childrens classes of the Sun Gallery Childrens Book Illustrator Show. I engaged children in the process of art using examples from the current art show. After the tour we completed an art project with oil pastels using elements from the show.

I taught drawing classes at local elementary schools in an after school program. The program is modeled around the Young Rembrandt's curriculum for learning art and drawing. Children use a variety of mediums to learn how to develop their creative skills.

Hayward Kaiser

I worked at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward as a professional photographer. I did portrait sessions with newborn babies and their families and helped them select photo packages, birth announcements and keepsakes. I used specialized software onsite, cropped photos and presented a slideshow after photos were uploaded and edited. This was all done in the comfort of the mothers room.

I taught the KidzArt drawing program to children ages 6-12. This is a drawing program that teaches children that art does not have to be perfect and that art should be fun. My children loved me, and I made art fun for them and they were not intimidated to explore. I taught them how to work with many mediums, including clay, copper foil, marking pens and colored pencils.My many years of art experience made this an enjoyable experience. It is very satisfying to see kids enjoy art and create with their imagination.

My specialty as the owner of Signs Now was the creative and public relations part of the business. I worked very well with customers to uncover their advertising needs, and developing appropriate marketing solutions tailored to their business, whether it was a small mom and pop business or a corporate entity.I have developed critical contacts and also worked as a columnist for a local newspaper during this time ( 5 years plus) I am also a recognized artist.My highly creative and good people skills enable me to pro actively work with many types of people and businesses to establish goals and relationships.I am good at problem solving and coming up with viable solutions within budgets.As a family business owner for over 14 years I understand the challenges that businesses face, both financially and emotionally. Being a balanced right and left brained person I am not only able to think creatively but also analytically.

Worked on the committee for the 2000 Millennium 4h of July parade held in the Irvington District of Fremont California. Helped organize and advertise for the parade.

Attended mixers and events as a representative for our business Signs Now. Served on various volunteer committees during my time as a chamber member, including the sign committee. Actively involved in the annual Fremont Festival held yearly.
