New Black Press started as a small business for me while I was on maternity leave with my second child. However, it proved to be a successful business. The Business and the book was sold to the German Lingen Publishing House in Cologne after our move to Switzerland in 2015 (See link to the Lingen Publishing House below)The second book "Ein neuer Freund für Bagger Ben" was published in January 2018 and and a third story “Bagger Ben feiert Geburtstag” came out in August 2019 with more books coming out every few years. We also licensed the Bagger Ben series to countries like Korea and soon China!

Being the press officer for the German America's cup team UNITED INTERNET TEAM GERMANY - UITG meant running and overseeing a press officeof three permanent staff. My role involved the preparation of all crisis press conferences in front ofinternational media, writing and translating daily media releases as well as all external and internalcommunication. Among many other things, I was the first point of call for the America's Cup Management Media Centre, the daily Q&A of journalists and sportsmen and a weekly 'all-teams press conference". I was also responsible to organise special media requests, e.g. photo shootings on team premises, interviews and regular media days.
