• Built a successful, nimble, and efficient Information Technology organization from scratch within a small, multimillion dollar data services company in the travel industry. Over 2 years, this team developed and launched 8 external and internal facing products built on a Hadoop-based data lake, PHP-based web portal, and DOMO-based business intelligence tool.• Managed software development and technical operations teams of 14 engineers and was responsible for the organization’s software development lifecycle and for implementing agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.• Was the product owner of the commission recovery product and co-product owner of data lake and proprietary web application products. Responsibilities included defining product vision, collecting feedback from senior management and client relationship managers, and combining both into a unified roadmap for all products and IT organization.• In 3 months, developed, launched, and successfully migrated 70+ clients to a data normalization, reconciliation, commission recovery, and reporting platform processing ~10m records / day. Each client migration involved custom data pipelines, quality checks, and maintaining consistency with data states in external systems (e.g. client back offices).• Standardized technology and business practices enabling growth in services and clients without increasing team size. The application included a number of metrics including VaR, Stress Testing, Liquidity Cost, Drawdowns, Rate of Returns, Risk Utilization, and Scenario Analysis. * New historical playback and liquidity management application for the Risk department. Both applications are used daily to generate and manage firm-wide and portfolio manager risk metrics.* Number of trading applications used by portfolio managers.* Three fund conversions in which tens of thousands of positions were moved between funds.* A number of Compliance related projects including the implementation of FINRA/SEC/ESMA regulations.* An 18-month project replacing the Investor Relations application suite.* Designed and implemented an on-boarding process for all new portfolio managers reducing support issues by 50% and earlier trading launch dates.

* Led specification, testing, and support of Equity Trading and Order Management Systems. Designed and implemented regression testing procedures to support a weekly production release schedule.* Provided 24x7 business and technical application support for all proprietary applications and business-focused vendor applications including real-time position monitor, P&L and exposure monitor, electronic and manual trading applications, market price distribution engine, centralized security data store, trade capture tool, and the Geneva portfolio accounting system.

* Worked as primary Business Analyst and Project Manager for legacy US Dollar Clearing business and member of the global project to consolidate this business into a global clearing platform.* Developed and implemented test plans for the upgrade of the Cash Management and Payments Operations Infrastructure of USD Clearing, and coordinated testing for the cash settlement of all financial products. * Developed changes to USD Clearing System, Repo-business tax logic, and Price Variance applications. * Provided support for all USD Clearing business and Finance & Control applications (>200 users, >10 apps).* Technology Stack: Oracle, Sybase, Informatica, Python, Perl, Java, Unix, VAX.* Community Outreach: Led a team of 12 colleagues to organize and publicize volunteer activities for IT employees in the Stamford and New York locations.
