As Chairman & CEO of Nutrabolt, the world’s largest independent sports nutrition and performance energy platform, Doss understands the paramount importance of health and wellness. Through his experience building a global business for more than a decade, investing in and advising a myriad of early-stage companies, Doss has become an expert in navigating the complexities that come with growth through constant, purposeful, and relentless evolution. With this mindset, he’s guided all the brands in the Nutrabolt portfolio, including C4, Cellucor, and XTEND, to become global powerhouses, achieving distribution in over 150 countries. In 2020, Doss was recognized by Ernst and Young as a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year. Beyond Nutrabolt, Doss is also an active investor in groundbreaking companies that seek to improve lives. Many recent investments have been made through Doss’ primary investment platform, LivWell Ventures, which is mainly focused on early investments in better-for-you lifestyle consumer brands that are disrupting the broader health and wellness space. Notable brands include FitJoy Nutrition, Lemon Perfect, Yerbae, Weller, Lola, Yumi, Henry the Dentist, and the 2020 acquisition of Dynamo, an Austin, TX-based beverage distribution company. To expand his entrepreneurship into operational support for fast-growth companies with complex supply chains , Doss co-founded Arrive Logistics, the fastest-growing freight brokerage, and the fastest to ever to reach a billion in sales in only its seventh year. In an effort to give back to the entrepreneur community, he co-founded Seed Sumo in 2013, a start-up accelerator that provided early-stage startup capital and mentorship to new consumer and technology ventures. Doss is also a principal of Greenleaf Capital Partners, a multi-family investment and advisory firm that makes growth equity investments in middle-market businesses by providing the connections to create opportunities, and the resources to capitalize on them. In 2018, Doss and his wife, Danielle, founded the GiveJoy Foundation with a mission to empower and guide disadvantaged youth to a strong, healthy future. The GiveJoy Foundation works towards this mission by developing strategic partnerships with organizations across Texas to support children most in need. The deployed programs focus on facilitating proper nutrition, medical access, physical movement, and impactful mentorship. Outside his professional life, Doss is an avid golfer, sports and fitness enthusiast, dedicated husband and proud father to four children.
