Manages the HR Support and Payroll teams, staff of 15. Focus is implementation of new HR/Payroll system to create efficiencies. Support staff during transition in systems. Documentation of new procedures. Support staff with team meetings and team building events. Highlight opportunities for change with team and business partners, with goal to be best practice for Vigor. Manages the payroll functions for Vigor Industrial, ensuring accurate and timely payroll. Responsible for maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and company policy. Department pays primarily in three states: Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Vigor has both weekly and biweekly payroll frequencies, managing to multiple union contracts. Performed in-house taxes for ten entities, more than eight states until 1/1/2022. Research and review of inquiries from regulatory agencies, departments, etc. Involvement with the prevailing wage automated project.

Manages the payroll functions for Vigor Industrial, ensuring accurate and timely payroll. Responsible for maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and company policy. Supervises payroll staff in multiple locations, providing payroll training opportunities. Implement new processes and procedures for increased efficiencies, including system enhancements. Prepares, reconciles and files in-house payroll tax returns.
