Business Intelligence & Data Analytics – Eliminated the 24-hour latency in reporting business performance by deploying Microsoft PowerBI and creating highly interactive performance dashboards for 800+ users. As a result, daily revenue recovery improved by 70%.Strategy Development & Execution – Slashed net monthly operating expense by $450k by introducing an asset prioritization initiative that aims to reassign resources to the most profitable assets, thereby reducing network downtime and increasing consumption by 80%.Conceptualized the Premium Power Initiative that allows Ikeja Electric to sell at a premium of 2X tariff to willing customers. Recorded over 15,000 connections and additional revenue of $20M since inception.Stakeholder Management – Served as an interface with the board of directors to present business unit quarterly position at board meetings and provide intelligent explanations for performance peaks and troughs while proposing actionable suggestions.Human Capacity Development - Launched Ikeja Electric’s first Human Capacity Development School and created the training curriculum for the same. 25 undertaking managers and 23 team leaders have so far been trained through the program.

Enterprise Application and Project Management – Led the transition from legacy Microsoft Excel to Enterprise PowerBI, eliminating data silos and reducing data latency by 90%.Collaborated with developers and other SME to synchronize the central database with IEForce App, CRM, and GIS tools used by field teams. This reduced the lag in updating customer/billing information by 75% post-deployment.Assisted in the development process from conception (product research) to launch (Stress Tests and UATs) of the IE Mobile App for both iOS and Android which saw over 50,000 downloads in the first monthRevenue Assurance Initiatives – Built customized online Asset Tracking database to prioritize assets according to their historical loss levels, and risk of ATC&C loss. Remote Monitoring Systems – Developed the relevant selection criteria for pilot base stations where remote monitoring solutions were first deployed.Project Management – Managed the full deployment of RMS; Affectli and CMS across 105 backbone and 1200 BTS sites in Lagos and South West regions. Discovered an opportunity to improve network KPIs and reduce OPEX through advanced analytics. Introduced hybrid power solutions to high-risk clusters and realized OPEX savings of $4M in the first month of deployment.Power Solutions & Hybrid Network Upgrades – Collaborated with hybrid solution vendors in prioritizing network clusters with the highest frequency of power outages. Achieved >70% saving on network maintenance costs in the first quarter of deployment in the pilot Lagos cluster.Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Developed and implemented a fully integrated central reporting system for collocation services including MTN, EMTS, INT, Spectranet and other managed services, giving Regional Technical Officers an overview of Field Support Teams‘ activities and overall network performance.

Drove improvements in Jumia’s B2B and B2C conversion rates and grew click-through rate and NPS by 75% in Q3 2016 by tracking customer preference using sentiment analysis to advise merchants on viable brands and products. This resulted in additional QoQ revenue of $6M.Sales Force Automation (Vendor Acquisition) – Worked with a team of developers to increase merchant acquisition by 85% and eliminated the 72-hour lead conversion delay by setting up CTAs on the Jumia website. The increase in merchant acquisition drove average QoQ GMV by $23M.Customer Experience – Grew market share by increasing traffic, improving SKU appeal, customer experience, click through rates, return customer additions. Identified performance drivers and assessed the impact of business processes on order fulfilment. This led to the introduction of 3rd party logistics (3PL) for outbound and deployed upload review and quality verification teams at drop-off locations nationwide. As a result, 35,000 additional orders were fulfilled per week.Vendor Success Process Reviews and Updates – Identified process inefficiencies in handling vendor requirements from acquisition to on-boarding. Designed and implemented web publications for signup requirements, FAQs, competitive market pricing, product upload requirements and coordinated vendor training.

Decision Support for New Markets – Reviewed and analyzed business and regulatory frameworks using the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index report and communicated identified policy/environmental constraints at review panels.Worked with 3 country representatives and 12 investment partners across Africa to co-create technology road maps, prioritizing initiatives with a solid business case to simplify processes, increase turnover and increase competitive advantage.Utilized a combination of quantitative (data collection and analysis) and qualitative (interviews) intelligence with key internal and external stakeholders to establish hypothesis.
