Read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Assemble electrical control panels, complete point to point wiring, and install variety of electronic components. Perform machine startup, debugging and tuning.

My role as an associate at Napa includes many different responsibilities. Using a hand scanner, I am able to stock anything from boxes of oil to brake rotors, take inventory of the merchandise that is on the shelf, and load pallets of merchandise onto outgoing semis.

As a utility operator at Donaldson’s’ I had several roles as I was the back up operator to every machine that ran on that assembly line. There were several different machines that I was trained on to keep that line running. Starting as a pleater, my job was to order the right media for each job run. I would feed the media through a pleater machine and make sure that the measurements were correct as well as each pleat. As an ACAM operator it was my job to send the pleated media through the ACAM machine to glue the media and create a media pack that would then be sent on to urethane. As a urethane operator I was trained on the specific ratio's that kept the adhesive at the right consistency and on how to properly center the filters on the endcaps. As a spinner operator I would set up the machine to enclose the endcap of the filters onto the housings. I would take measurements to verify that they were in spec and then run the orders. As a painter operator it was job to make sure that the paint was the right color to each order, verify that the spray gun was coating each housing evenly. My duties as a bagger/printer operator included getting the right print on each filter, changing colors, printing labels, and running specialty orders to spec. As an air tester I would air test the filters in a machine that would check the to make sure the seams weren't leaking. When I wasn't running a machine I was utilized as an assembler where I would rotate to different spots helping out on the assembly line. I would do anything from cleaning when the line was down, to assembling boxes for product being sent out, making shipping labels, palletizing product, and putting together kits.

I would pull prints for the silos that were coming in. I would clean the silos and prep them so that I was able to paint them. Prior to this, I was CNC plasma machine operator. I would run this machine by using program files to burn out quantities for silos and tanks. I was also a welder with Imperial Industrial, where I would stick weld seams on the inside of the silos and weld parts onto the exterior of the silos per blueprint specs.
